Auntie Anne’s offers store options that are flexible to a variety of venue types. This is why you’re likely to find our stores in malls, outlet centers, colleges and universities, transportation sites like airports and train stations, and non-traditional shopping and entertainment centers.
Not every location is ideal for our proven business model, however. We list below some of the factors that contribute to a great Auntie Anne’s location.
High pedestrian traffic areas are best.

  • Traffic counts of 30 people every five minutes during off-peak hours.
  • Traffic counts of 70 people every five minutes during lunch hours and from 6 to 8 p.m.
  • Traffic counts of over 100 people every five minutes on weekends.
  • We’re also interested in knowing about the number of annual visitors to a property where the store will be located.

Some key points for stores in shopping centres.

  • Toward the center of the mall and on the most active level is preferred.
  • Food courts will be considered, but only at the corner or entrance for the food court.
  • Our better opportunities have a minimum of two anchor tenants

About the competition.

  • If the property boasts a high traffic count, a location at the end of the center, or on another level, opposite the competition, will be considered.
  • The percentage of food offerings versus other retailers should not exceed 20 percent.
The sales figures of other food vendors should be considered.
